Garden Pavilion

The Garden Pavilion is a small building for a small purpose: a place to read, to work at a distance from the house, to sit out a rainstorm. A single pitched roof rests on two glass walls, so the structure reads as a roof floating above the garden.

Cedar shingles weather to match the silver of the existing fence within a season, and the whole pavilion settles into the planting as though it had always been there.
