Studio
I am an architect and furniture maker working between Lisbon and Porto. My practice runs on a single conviction: that buildings and the objects inside them should be designed together, each answering to the other.
I trained in Porto and spent six years in a Brussels atelier before opening the studio. The work ranges from single-family houses to small commercial conversions, and alongside it a steady line of furniture — chairs, tables, lighting — built in the same shop as the architectural models.
Everything is drawn by hand first. The drawings are slow, and the slowness is the point: it is where the decisions worth keeping get made.
